As you step inside Bessingham Manor, you are greeted by its grand Entrance Hall, with black and white marble flooring and a large sweeping staircase. Scroll down and take a tour…

Bedroom 1
(The Bridal Suite)

This is a large room with a Super King Size four-poster bed plus a single bed, fireplace, chaise longue and dual aspects overlooking the beautiful local countryside.

The large en-suite has a double slipper bath with French doors opening out onto its own balcony with seating. Just picture yourself soaking in the bath with the doors open on a balmy night with champagne in your hand!
There is also a lovely corner shower.

Bedroom 2
(Family Room)

This has a Super King Size four-poster bed and a single-sized Day Bed, fireplace, chaise longue and windows on two aspects.
The en-suite is charming with its traditional slipper bath and fireplace.

Bedroom 3

is a beautiful wallpapered room with a Super King Size black and brass bed and fireplace. The décor has a somewhat ‘Chinese feel’.

Bedroom 3 has a large en-suite with a modern shower.

Bedroom 4
(Family Room)

This is another wallpapered and characterful room with a Super King Size cream and brass bed, adult bunk beds and a large window overlooking the rear garden.

It can sleep 3 (the room features a small double bed (4ft) and one single bed) with a fireplace, that overlooks the rear garden.
We found that the wardrobe in this room had a secret door in the back where the servants could scurry through (though you can tell your children it goes to Narnia!).

Bedroom 5

This is a double room with a brass bed and fireplace. It looks out on to the rear garden.

Bedroom 6

This can sleep 3 (the room features a small double bed (4ft) and one single bed) with a fireplace, that overlooks the rear garden.

We found that the wardrobe in this room had a secret door in the back where the servants could scurry through (though you can tell your children it goes to Narnia!).

Bedroom 7

This is a pretty double bedroom that is downstairs, making it suitable for those less able and wheelchair users.

It has an adjoining wet room through the archway.

Bedroom 8

This is a beautiful wallpapered room with a Super King Size black and brass bed and fireplace. The décor has a somewhat ‘Chinese feel’.

Bedroom 3 has a large en-suite with a modern shower.

Bedroom 9
(Family Room)

This is another wallpapered and characterful room with a Super King Size cream and brass bed, adult bunk beds and a large window overlooking the rear garden.

The Family Bathroom

This is wonderfully luxurious!

A cast iron, freestanding roll top bath occupies centre stage, facing towards the large windows and surrounded by Chandeliers and a fireplace.
We guarantee you will feel very special every time you bathe. There is also a large separate shower.

More Information

There are two staircases: the old servant’s staircase at the far end of the Manor, or you could make your entrance and sweep down the main staircase into the Grand Hall.

Bessingham Manor is decorated in beautiful Farrow and Ball colours and is adorned with beautiful cornicing, dado and picture rails, gorgeous light fittings, stained glass doors and beautiful cast iron Paladin radiators. That’s just to name some of the delightful features that await you.

There will not be housekeeping throughout your stay so we recommend the guests allocated to each room remain the same for the entire duration.
